Italian immigration

By the year 1870 they were not so many Italian immigration in the United States.By 1890 Italians started to immigrate.Italy was very overcrowded and Italians started moving to United State.Some Italians wanted better jobs other escape from lower wages and high taxes.They were looking for better life and more oportunities.

  Southern immigrants(Italy) became the predominant Italian immigrant.Italians work in jobs such as shoe shinning, ragpicking, sewer cleaning, and other hard, dirty, dangerous jobs.Italians went to Us to work and try to ear and save money,for later return back to Italy.Italians work hard in the U.S.

Italian immigrants were Catholic,but the catholic church in America was dominate by the Irish,in difrences came.Italian just found work which were rought and hard.Womens mainly work in their houses.Italian  skimp on food in a desperate attempt to save money. Later, when new generations of Italians came, the dirtiness of their homes disappeared.

Immigration is a very complicated and sad topic.I've always have said that everyone has the chance to succed no matter what circumtances but always doing the right thinks.In other words,without hurting others.Honestly I am thankful of not beint in that situation of needing to immigrate to other places.Those people suffer alot and pass a lot of needs.So I thanks God for the way I am living.
